Japanese Skill Standards Training Program.

The Information Technology program at CMC University is designed in accordance with the standards of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Information Technology Skill Standard (ITSS) of Japan. ITSS is a Japanese IT skill certification developed through collaboration between the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan, starting in 2021.

In addition to ACM standards, the CMC University IT program supplements knowledge areas required for ITSS certification, such as hardware, management science, accounting, and intellectual property ownership. The Department of Information Technology and Communication also provides study materials for ITSS in Japanese, English, and Vietnamese, allowing students additional resources for reference and research.

Starting in 2023, CMC University officially enrolls and educates students in the bilingual Information Technology program, with 100% of specialized courses taught entirely in English. Apart from foundational courses, all specialized courses in the bilingual program will be conducted in English.

The English language proficiency requirement for the bilingual program at CMC University is IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. In cases where students do not have an IELTS 5.5 certificate or equivalent, they will undergo an English proficiency test and be placed in corresponding language levels. After completing Level 6 of the university’s English program, students can proceed to the first semester of the main program.
