CMC Corporation is currently the second largest information technology and telecommunications conglomerate in Vietnam. Founded in 1993, CMC has established its position in the Vietnamese market and in many countries around the world through its core businesses in four divisions: Technology & Solution, Telecommunications, Global Business, and Research & Education, with eight subsidiaries, joint ventures, and research institutes. In the 2021-2025 period, CMC aims to become a Global Digital Corporation of international standing, a leading consultant and implementer of digital transformation solutions for businesses and organizations, with revenue of one billion USD and a workforce of over 10,000 employees.

In addition to its technological capabilities, CMC continues to implement the CMC Creative Space project, which includes a complex of offices and data centers located in the center of three major cities: Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City. The highlight is Tân Thuận Data Center, which was launched in June 2022 with a scale of 1,200 racks, meeting Tier 3 standards for design and construction, and is considered to be the most world-class, safe, and modern data center in Vietnam.

In 2022, CMC Corporation accelerated the development of its Research & Education division with the investment in the Asia University of Arts and Design, which was renamed CMC University on July 26, 2022, under Decision No. 895/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister, with a positioning as the first Digital University in Vietnam, a place where the country's elite digital citizens are born, and at the same time becomes an important launch pad for CMC to achieve the goal of a global digital conglomerate with a scale of billions of dollars and human resources of 10,000-15,000 people.
