On October 15th in Hanoi, CMC University solemnly held the Opening Ceremony for the academic year 2023 – 2024 and welcomed the new students of Cohort 2, conveying the message “Digital World Makers – Shaping the Digital World.” The event marked the beginning of a new learning journey for the new students of Cohort 2, celebrating an exciting, energetic, and successful new academic year for the faculty and students of Đánh phỏm - Trò chơi bài miễn phí.

Attending the Opening Ceremony of CMC University for the academic year 2023 – 2024 were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan – Former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Study Encouragement Association, Honorary Chairwoman of the CMC University Council; Assoc. On the side of CMC University, the event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of CMC Technology Corporation, Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. The theme “Digital World Makers – Shaping the Digital World” of the Opening Ceremony for the academic year 2023 – 2024 and the Welcome for the new students of Cohort 2 also serves as the educational direction for CMC University students to become a generation of digital and global citizens, providing high-quality human resources for Vietnam and the world in the digital age, contributing to the prosperity and strength of Vietnam.

The event was also an opportunity to reflect on the initial journey of CMC University with noteworthy achievements. After a year of operation, CMC University is gradually asserting its position in the higher education system in Vietnam, with a mission to train high-quality human resources in the field of science and technology.

During the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh – Chairman of CMC Technology Corporation, Chairman of the University Council of CMC University, shared his heartfelt thoughts: “Step by step, every day, CMC University is gradually shaping up to be a clearer, more beautiful digital university, aiming to become a leading university in Asia, ranking at the top of the world in some new scientific and technological fields by 2033, and becoming a world-class university by 2043.”

In her speech at the event, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Doan – Former Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Study Encouragement Association, Honorary Chairwoman of the University Council, stated: “CMC University is a university with the mission of training high-quality human resources in science and technology through focused and enhanced training methods, fostering analytical, innovative, creative abilities and interactive skills for students. If well-trained at CMC University, students will contribute to modernizing and leading future changes in all fields.”

In his welcoming speech at the Opening Ceremony for the academic year 2023 – 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh – Rector of CMC University, welcomed nearly 1,000 new students of Cohort 2. “With an advanced training and research environment following international standards, the university’s programs are built according to international accreditation standards. Specifically, the Information Technology and Communication programs are developed based on the ABET accreditation criteria of the United States, and other programs follow the AUN-QA accreditation criteria of the ASEAN University Network,” said Assoc. CMC University aspires to build a digital university, educating generations of liberated minds, skills, technological innovation, technology mastery, and human resources to create a digital future, a digital nation, and a digital world.

In the past two academic years, CMC University has welcomed 345 students of Cohort 1 and 1,000 students of Cohort 2, studying in six bachelor’s degree programs: Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Graphic Design, Japanese Language, and Korean Language.

In the academic year 2024, CMC University plans to open a new major, specializing in microchip design, to provide internationally standardized microchip design workforce for Vietnam’s semiconductor industry and the global market.

Being oriented towards development from “Smart University, Innovative and Creative” during the period 2022 – 2032, to “Research University” (World-class university) after 2032, the top goal of CMC University is to become a technology university with strong training fields in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics – Telecommunications, and other fields related to the requirements of the country’s scientific, technological, and digital economic development, with a medium-scale of 20 to 30 thousand students by 2039.

Also, at the Opening Ceremony for the academic year 2023 – 2024, CMC University signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with CMC Global Company, Synopsys Vietnam Limited Company, Gwangju University (South Korea), and Navigos Group Vietnam Joint Stock Company, to accompany the university in implementing four key areas of work for the academic year 2023 – 2024.

On this occasion, CMC University also commended the outstanding academic achievements of the new students of Cohort 2, who received the “CMC Liberal” scholarship, covering 100% of tuition fees from the “CMC – Because You Deserve It” scholarship fund, with a total value of 92 billion VND in 2023. These scholarships have significant meaning for the students, providing not only financial support but also motivation for them to strive and work harder in the future.

During the ceremony, representatives of Cohort 2 students and parents of CMC University shared their emotions and positive impressions about the university. They also expressed sincere gratitude to the leadership of the CMC Corporation and the university for creating an advanced and modern learning environment, helping to realize the dreams and aspirations of students and parents.

Also, at the Opening Ceremony, representatives of the CMC University’s Board of Directors honored the students of Cohort 1 who had outstanding academic achievements during the academic year 2022 – 2023. This recognition serves as motivation to encourage all students to continue striving, learning, and developing themselves further.

On the occasion of the Opening Ceremony for the academic year 2023 – 2024, CMC University students received a new joy by receiving a special gift from Dr. Le Thong Nhat – a mathematics teacher with a love for poetry and music. At the event, Dr. Le Thong Nhat presented a song that he composed specifically for the university called “The Song of Đánh phỏm - Trò chơi bài miễn phí. ” Notably, Dr. Le Thong Nhat is the grandfather of Le Vo Viet Khoi – a new student of Cohort 2 majoring in Information Technology at Đánh phỏm - Trò chơi bài miễn phí.
