On the morning of August 31, 2022, the CMC University Science and Training Council held the first session, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Science. Pham The Long – Chairman of the Council.

The meeting was attended by the Presidential Board of CMC University, including: Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh – President, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung – Vice President, Mr. Ho Nhu Hai – Vice President. The event was also attended by members of the Scientific and Training Council members who are reputable managers and scientists, including: Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat – Vice Chairman, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thanh Thuy – Vice Chairman, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Hai Khoi – Member, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Viet Thanh – Member, Mr. Dang Ngoc Bao – Member, Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh – Member, Mr. Ngo Trong Hieu – Member, Mr. Ho Thanh Tung – Member.

At the meeting, the CMC Science and Training Council discussed and approved many orientations, strategies and plans to develop scientific and training activities, and quality assurance of training programs.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Council listened to Vice President – Mr. Ho Nhu Hai report an overview of the school’s operation from January 2022 to the present, including: organizational structure, important milestones of the school, starting new majors, recruiting lecturers & employees, preparing facilities, …

In addition to appreciating the achievements, members of the Science and Training Council consulted plans, proposals, making recommendations and solutions to further improve the quality of training of the school in 2022 and the following years. Specifically: training in close connection with businesses, developing soft skills, especially enhancing foreign language skills for students. With the task of advising and consulting the University Council and the President of CMC University, the Council members have raised their enthusiastic and highly strategic opinions, in accordance with the development orientation of the school in the near future.
The Council also discussed and approved the new opening and adjusting the majors in new, modern and advanced fields, including: Information Technology, Business Administration, Japanese Language, Korean Language. Especially, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh – President of the school proposed a scheme to adjust the Graphic Design major for the whole council to discuss and approve.

At the meeting, PhD. Nguyen Ngoc Binh continues to report to the Council on organizing bachelor’s training from the school year 2022-2023 according to international skills standards; IT training program integrated with ITSS standard of Japan.

Representing the enterprise participating in the Science and Training Council – CMC University, Mr. Ho Thanh Tung, CEO of CMC Corporation also gave suggestions to build a training program that closely follows the practical needs of the market, consider collecting feedback from reputable businesses and employers to build a training program that closely follows the human resource market.

Speaking at the first session, Prof. Dr. Science. Pham The Long – Chairman of the Science and Training Council would like to thank the members.
