2.1. Overview of the Training Program
Proud to be one of the pioneering institutions in training Artificial Intelligence and Data Science-oriented professionals at the university level—a new program in Vietnam—CMC University has made substantial investments in infrastructure. Coupled with a team of leading experts and highly qualified faculty in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, the university has developed a bachelor’s program in Information Technology since 2022.
The bachelor’s program in Information Technology with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at CMC University is designed to produce scientists in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, prepared to meet the workforce demands in an industry recognized as a cornerstone of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Vietnam and globally.
2.2. Knowledge, Skills, and Accumulated Experience
Knowledge: The program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science aims to provide students with comprehensive foundational knowledge in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science to address both scientific and practical challenges.
Skills: Students will acquire practical skills and the ability to apply their specialized knowledge to professional practice, especially in solving interdisciplinary problems related to computer science, artificial intelligence, and data science.
Attitude: Graduates are expected to become global citizens with strong ethical values, demonstrating good professional conduct. They should be responsible in their work, exhibit a cooperative, positive, creative, disciplined, diligent, open-minded, and democratic attitude.
