2. Objectives of the Training Program
2.1. Overview of the Training Program
Computer Engineering is a training orientation that combines knowledge from both the fields of Electronics and Information Technology. Students pursuing Computer Engineering are trained in knowledge and skills utilizing the principles of Information Technology and Electronics to research the principles and methods for designing and developing hardware and software systems used in various fields: consumer electronics, medical devices, communication information systems, aircraft, self-driving cars, and more.
At the same time, Information Technology students at CMC University learn to develop, prototype, and test integrated circuits, circuits, processors, conductors, and other components used in computer devices or systems.
2.2. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Gained After the Course
– In terms of knowledge: Students are trained in mathematics, physics, digital electronics, algorithms, databases, analysis, and design of information systems, combined with specialized knowledge about infrastructure, connectivity mechanisms, control, operation, and information security of computer systems and data communication networks.
– In terms of skills: Students develop organizational and teamwork skills, presentation skills, and other soft skills. Particularly, they possess the capability to develop information technology products suitable for practical requirements.
– In terms of attitude: CMC University emphasizes the development of discipline and professional ethics in students. Students continuously improve their spirit, self-learning, exploration, and creativity.
