Dr. Nguyen Tra My, a lecturer in the Business and Management Department at CMC University, published a research article on the globalization of accounting education in the Asian Review of Accounting journal in August 2022. With impressive achievements throughout her academic journey, Dr. Tra My continues to be passionate and dedicated to her scientific research career.

The ongoing educational journey of a young lecturer.

Nguyen Tra My, born in 1992, earned her bachelor’s degree at Kozminski University in Poland in 2014. After completing her master’s at Royal Holloway, United Kingdom in 2015, she worked as an assisting lecturer at University College London (UCL). She successfully defended her doctoral thesis at RMIT University in 2022. Proficient in both English and Polish, with years of experience in translating between these two languages, Dr. Tra My also holds an IELTS score of 8.5.

From 2015 to 2017, she worked as an accountant and auditor at Moore Stephens LLP in the United Kingdom. Despite achieving academic success abroad and having various opportunities, Dr. My decided to return to Vietnam. From 2017 to 2022, she served as a lecturer at the International School of the National University of Hanoi.

In early 2022, Dr. Tra My joined the permanent faculty at the Faculty of Business and Management, Đánh phỏm - Trò chơi bài miễn phí. She actively engages in teaching and scientific research, having published numerous articles and research projects in both domestic and international journals.

The research article on the globalization of accounting education was published in an international scientific journal.

Ms. Tra My is the primary author of the research work titled “Perceived internationalization of accounting education: the case of Vietnam,” published in the Asian Review of Accounting journal, which is classified as a Q2 journal in the SCImago system. This is also the topic that Tra My researched for four years as her doctoral dissertation, with the aim of identifying issues in Vietnam’s higher education system and finding solutions, starting from her workplace and research.

Ms. Tra My shares: Through the process of researching these works, I hope to understand more about my teaching profession, constantly innovate, improve towards better directions, create value for students in particular, and for education in general. Currently, My is researching other issues, and in the near future, there will be additional works related to this topic. I hope that all the motivation, effort, and belief I put into these works will be positively received and utilized.

With a solid foundation in scientific research gained during the doctoral program at RMIT University, in 2022, Ms. Tra My has completed and published three scientific research projects. She is currently finalizing two other projects and has just started two additional ones.
