Position: Information Technology Lecturer

Job Description

Developing teaching plans, designing and updating the lecture content for a subject or group of subjects in the field of Information Technology.

Conducting theoretical and hands-on teaching directly in the classroom or online for subjects/groups of subjects such as Software Engineering, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, and Computer Networks.

Participating in professional development activities, curriculum development, guiding thesis projects, invigilate exams, create exam papers, grade exams, etc.

Performing scientific research tasks as prescribed by the university.

Carrying out other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department and as directed by the Rector.

Requirements

Education:

Master’s degree or higher, majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent majors, with a GPA of Good or above. Preference given to candidates from foreign universities.

Priority for candidates with teaching qualifications.

Experience:

Experience in teaching and managing specialized courses.

Research experience in the relevant field is an advantage. Preference given to candidates with international publications.

Teaching capability: Ability to teach with diverse and effective methods and techniques, using information technology.

Skills:

Ability to read and research materials in English.

Pedagogical and communication skills.

Passionate and dedicated to teaching, especially knowledgeable about active learning, problem-based learning, and case teaching methods.

Enthusiastic and dedicated when working with students and colleagues.
