2. Objectives of the Training Program
2.1. Overview of the Training Program
The Information Security training direction provides knowledge about applying technologies, processes, and controls to protect systems, networks, programs, devices, and data from cyber attacks. This focus in Information Security equips students with the knowledge and skills to control cyber attacks while preventing unauthorized exploitation of systems, networks, and technology. Students studying Information Security at CMC University specialize in protecting information systems and data from attacks by viruses, malware, and against unauthorized access, modification, dissemination, and illegal destruction of data.
2.2. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Gained After the Course
– In terms of knowledge: Students pursuing the Information Security orientation at CMC University possess comprehensive knowledge to use scientific and technical tools to recognize, analyze, and solve problems related to network information security and safety. Additionally, students are capable of collecting, analyzing, understanding, and synthesizing security and safety requirements from information systems to serve research, development, and building of secure information systems.
– In terms of skills: The Information Security orientation trains students in searching and applying modern techniques, skills, and tools to solve practical problems in the field of Information Security, as well as deploying applications that ensure information security meeting the technical requirements in real-world conditions.
– In terms of attitude: Students are cultivated with good ethical qualities, high discipline, work capabilities, and a constant awareness of self-learning to improve their level, along with professional competence and language skills for career development.
