CMC University signs a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Morikosan Corporation, Japan.

On the afternoon of October 27th, CMC University organized a comprehensive cooperation agreement signing ceremony with Morikosan Company. The event opens up long-term cooperation opportunities between the two parties, focusing on various activities for CMC University students.

In attendance at the signing ceremony from CMC University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Binh – Rector, MA. Ho Nhu Hai – Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Viet Thanh – Head of the Language and Culture Department, MA. Trinh Thi Phuong Thao – Director of the Japanese Language Program, as well as staff members from various departments and student representatives from the Japanese Language program. Representing Morikosan Company were Mr. Mori Hayato – CEO and Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Linh – Secretary and External Affairs Officer.

The signing ceremony between CMC University and Morikosan Company has strengthened the cooperative relationship between the two parties and created opportunities for students to study and work in Japan. The cooperation agreement serves as the foundation for both parties to jointly develop detailed cooperation plans, effectively utilize their resources, and achieve their stated goals.

During the meeting, MA. Ho Nhu Hai – Vice Rector of CMC University, provided an overview of the capabilities of CMC Technology Corporation, its core values, strengths, and distinctive features in Vietnam’s higher education system, with 6 majors: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Graphic Design, Korean Language, and Japanese Language.

He emphasized that the foundation of information technology within the CMC Technology Corporation is a solid basis for developing the University’s cutting-edge majors in the field of technology and engineering. CMC University’s goal is to become a leading Asian university, ranking among the top universities in the world in certain new fields by 2033 and a world-class university by 2043.

Following this, Mr. Mori Hayato – CEO of Morikosan Company, briefly introduced the Morikosan Corporation. Established in 1987, Morikosan is a subsidiary of the Yoshu Group, a conglomerate with a 90-year history specializing in titanium and stainless steel. The Yoshu Group is headquartered in Osaka, Japan, and established its first factory in Vietnam’s Dong Nai province in 2012.

As a member of the Yoshu Group, Morikosan Company is responsible for human resource training and planning group activities, with a focus on recruiting personnel and supporting/interning foreign students in Japan. Morikosan has over 10 years of experience in conducting internships, seminars for international students, and foreign labor in Japan.

Beyond simply connecting Vietnamese students to jobs in Japan, Morikosan also provides support in enhancing Japanese language skills, work capabilities, and knowledge of Japanese business and society to international students and foreign workers seeking employment in Japan. In particular, Morikosan regularly organizes networking events for international students to have the opportunity to interact and exchange directly with businesses, Japanese speech contests for students, and long-term employment support for international students and foreigners.

Mr. Mori Hayato stated that in today’s globalized era, Morikosan Company in particular, and the Yoshu Group in general are focusing on global integration, especially in connecting people internationally between Japan and the rest of the world. Regarding support for international students, the company operates the WA.SA.Bi. brand, which also serves as a multilingual information platform sharing insights on life, study, and work in Japan, with the motto “By international students, for international students.” Currently, WA.SA.Bi. has over 14,000 members from more than 104 countries worldwide. At the event, the Rector of CMC University highly praised the content of the comprehensive cooperation agreement in terms of its level, method, and scope of cooperation. He expressed hope that after the signing ceremony, the contents would be effectively implemented, opening up new opportunities for Morikosan Company and CMC University to bring practical values to learners and businesses.

Mr. Mori Hayato proposed collaborative activities in the partnership with CMC University, including student exchanges for internships in Japanese companies and connecting CMC University with educational and training institutions and businesses in Japan.
